EscapeTime Escape Rooms was founded in 2018 by Jose Matos & Russell Paterno. Opening their first location in Severna Park, Maryland during the spring of 2018. ​ "We began our Escape Room journey after taking a group to an Escape Room for a team building event in Annapolis Maryland. It was astonishing to see a foundation of trust being built in the first few minutes. The next 15 minutes, a bond formed; by 30 minutes, we were practically family (both good times and bad); by 45 minutes, we were best friends ready to share with the world how we just conquered an impossible mission with total strangers", said Jose Matos". ​ "We have done extensive research, both locally and internationally, talking to Escape room experts around the globe and we have created custom built rooms with unmatched game designs", said Russell Paterno. We invest a great deal of time and imagination when creating our original stories and logical puzzles. The goal is to bring the community a unique and fun experience, all while intertwining team building components within every storyline. Each room is fitted with a vary of props, special effects, latest Escape Room technology, and a mix of traditional components to bring a real-life like game experience. These two Escape Room enthusiasts recognized a need for a deeply immersive Escape Room experience in both Annapolis and Severna Park. Now, the creative duo has expanded their EscapeTime brand with a second location in Annapolis, Maryland; Now Open right across from the Annapolis Mall. ​ EscapeTime Escape Rooms in Annapolis and Severna Park, Maryland.
