EscapeTime Escape Rooms - Severna Park

Update: We went and had a great time. The Lost Ship was so much fun though challenging, we just made it out. More importantly, the owner was willing to do the right thing and refund the missing guest. I'm therefore updating my one star review to four stars. I understand having a policy to mitigate against cancellations. However, there will be occurrences that happen where discretion should be used for reasonable requests to ensure your guests feel good about spending money at your establishment. Refusing all refunds and instead pushing vouchers doesn't make sense in all cases.

Beware, if you do online reservations, this company refuses to do refunds. We made an online reservation for a party of 10 (max number of guests the room accommodates) and had one guest tentatively able to come. I didn't get a reservation emailed after paying online, so I contacted the company and promptly received the $300 invoice as requested. I replied with thanks by also advising in a subsequent email one member of our party was not able to make it (literally the next day from making the reservation). No response to that email. 48 hours before our reservations the following week, I called to ask some questions and mention we would only be a party of 9. I thought it would be no problem to receive a credit for the one person, $29. The district manager would only provide a voucher for the guest as this is their policy. I repeatedly asked to reconsider, considering the amount of money we were paying for a birthday. No... it is not their policy to provide returns. Just beware for party booking purposes, especially for online bookings where you aren't actually talking with someone. Poor way to do business.

Our group did the Thieves room and had a great time! Special thanks to our host Natalie who was very sweet--it was my first time doing an escape room and I'd definitely like to go back soon. 5 stars!

I went to the EscapeTime Escape Rooms today to their new room, the Thieves Guild. The room really transported you to another world to escape from. The attention to detail they gave was amazing! There even was a crown and a snake in a jar. The puzzles were fantastic and the whole concept of the room was unique and supper immersive. We felt like we were off on a quest straight out of a video game... We also dressed up in our Renaissance outfits which could've helped too . 10/10 best escape room I've done, hands down

So much more enjoyable than Mission!! Mission was dark and they had no flashlight available. Escape Time did. Much more professional too. They have tv screens to give clues and time instead of listening to someone through an intercom. The puzzles are more fun than Mission. Mission is only 50 minutes and escape time is a full hour.

I went with a group of friends to Escape Time, and we all enjoyed ourselves a lot. The staff is personable and super friendly. Anthony made sure that we had an unforgettable experience, and the decor is bright and inviting.

We went to the Vegas room. It was challenging and well done. I will definitely go back to try another one.

Did the Jolly Roger room, was a lot of fun. Was rated an 8 of 10 difficulty, I don't think it was that hard. Unique puzzles, highly recommend it.

Took the family here today for Father's Day. We did the Ghost Ship room. The clues were just challenging enough for us and the kids. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room itself was clean and decorated for the theme. We had a great time and will definitely be back to try another room.

The person that gave the one star review has to be a mole!!!! Staff was professional and gave good clues when needed. We've been here twice and it did not disappoint. Puzzles were challenging but made sense. Will definitely come back to do the other rooms.

LACKING!! Prices are too high for what it is. Use ur time wisely. Many other funny and engaging this to do in the area.

I went here with a group of folks after we got a groupon. We had an absolute blast. We did the Hangover room. It was hard but not too hard. We were able to complete the room with 15 seconds to spare (with a little help from the game master lol) The people who run the place are really nice folks. We all said we would do this again.
